September 21-23, 2012

The sold-out workshop saw participating artists getting those rich, velvety blacks and glowing highlights that Ryan had promised.  After scraping, burnishing, rockin’, inking, wiping and printing, everyone took away beautiful (and well-earned) mezzotint prints. See the workshop in action!

Burning Bones Press turned up the heat last summer with “It Came From The Bayou!,” which featured printmaking demonstrations and showcase work from The Amazing Hancock Brothers, Sean Starwars, Workhorse Printmakers, Matt Rebholz, Ryan O’Malley – of course Burning Bones Press – and more. DJ PsychedelicSexPanther was on hand to spin the greatest underground garage and provide a soundtrack to an evening of ink slinging and selling. “It Came From The Bayou!” was an official PrintHouston 2012 event.
