Learn everything you need to know to make killer one-color woodcut printed t-shirts with Legendary Outlaw Printmaker Sean Starwars. 

In this two-day workshop, you'll explore the process of planning, drawing, and cutting your own woodcuts to use for printing one-color on your own t-shirts (or any other fabric to make whatever you want). There's nothing better than wearing a t-shirt you made with your own two hands. So come on out and send the woodchips flying!!!

Details:

Saturday, July 19th:  10 AM - 4 PM - meet and greet - woodcut overview - begin drawing on blocks and start carving

Sunday, July 20th: 10 AM - 4 PM - finish carving blocks, print, repeat!!!

Sean Starwars Woodblock T-shirt workshop will provide; 12”x15” woodblock, ink, 3 t-shirts per participant.

Participants should come to workshop with:

-Additional T-shirts (no more than 2-3)

-Sketch — ready to be transferred to a woodblock.

-Set of woodblock carving tools

Some additional tools will be provided. Please avoid bringing a linocut tool.
